Through my friends at Sydney Sketch Club I have been invited to contribute to Urban Sketchers Sydney. All I know about Urban Sketchers is that it is a massive online group who are a passionate about drawing, drawing journals and the urbanscape. Put it plainly, if we were watching a Star Wars film – they’d have their own planet. Some incredible illustrators, sketchers, artists contribute and it’s very exciting to be a part of it, and the official Sydney group.
So my brain wouldn’t explode with all the possibilities of what to draw, I decided on sticking with what I know – my own suburb, Marrickville. I’ve lived here all my life and it is full of life – different cultures, groups, sub-cultures etc. It’s a bustling town and always changing. So here I go… click here for the dedicated page.
